I've come to update my journal entry b/c since I haven't been able to post new artwork, I at least want to make new personal updates!
I had my first critique today, which is good b/c I need it, lol. I realized my hackground perspective is not all that good, which is fine b/c I really started backgrounds pretty recently. I always hated backgrounds, but they are now essential. My shading has gotten better though (even though I have no proof yet), and my perspective of the human body is better too I'm trying not to draw a lot of...Idk how to put it, "kiddyish" kinds of characters and going for a more mature and real kind of look. My art before may seem a bit amature (which most are, b/c I posted a lot from when I was in 5th grade), and I'm kinda getting tired of it :/ So if any of you have some ideas, I am completely open.
